That's the concept behind Donutology - a donut shop that let's you explore, discover and experiment through a vast assortment of do-it-yourself toppings.

 

In the same spirit of exploration and discovery, we reached for the stars and brought them a big idea to create buzz and media attention during their grand opening.

 

So six months and 23 days before KFC infamously sent their chicken sandwich into space...

we sent a donut.

​

On December 2, 2016, Sprinkles I, a delicious, red, white and blue sprinkled donut, made its historic voyage 97,000 ft to the edge of the upper stratosphere -

and back.

 

It's still on display at Donutology's Westport location today.
